I’m a “slow” cooker. As a passionate and adventurous home cook, my idea of a perfect day is waking up to a full fridge, a well-stocked pantry and NO schedule. There is nothing more satisfying than the smiles and mmmmm’s from family and friends, as I turn a larder of miscellaneous inventory into something heart-warming, nutritious, and soul satisfying for anyone patient enough to endure the process. In addition to my love of food and cooking, I’ve been a florist, model, retail buyer, gift and antique storeowner, innkeeper/owner of a bed and breakfast, food columnist, and publisher.
