The Finley Shirt

These days, trends seem to whir past us quicker than Kim Kardashian’s marriage. The more we try to keep up, the more they keep changing. Finley Moll, an American fashion designer based in Dallas, seems to have found a solution to the stylish girl who can’t pull off harem pants (which, let’s face it, is most of us). The Finley Moll brand’s motto is “to provide a crisp, clean answer to a trendy world,” an idea demonstrated in their iconic “Finley Shirt.” Using clean architectural lines and feminine details such as draping, tucking, ruching and pleating, Finley Shirts creates a flattering look that fits figures flawlessly.

The ladies behind the Finley Shirts worked hard to grow their business and establish a quality standard for American-made fashion. Finley Moll was born and raised in Texas and was inspired by her fashionable mother who exuded southern class. She went on to major in fashion design at the University of North Texas and from there she worked as Head Designer for fellow Dallas fashion designer Jan Barboglio. While working at Barboglio, Finley met Heather McNeill and in 1994 they founded the fashion label, Finley Shirts. After establishing the crisp, white shirt as their signature design, they brought Marty Washington on board to help launch a new label, “Finley Color” which expanded their designs to include color while still maintaining their timeless style.

Many fashionistas and celebrities have worn the Finley Shirt, proving that the Finley Team’s attention to detail and elegance knows no bounds. Comfort and style make this design the epitome of southern sophistication. Find your Finley Shirt at local boutique Village Sportswear (205 879-5748) in Mountain Brook Village or at Gus Mayer starting this August (http://www.gusmayer.com/).
